Brief Description
Fingal County Council (FCC) have appointed Fehily Timoney and Company (FT) to provide environmental consultancy services to continue the improvements being undertaken as part of the ongoing remediation and aftercare works at Balleally Landfill.
FT are providing innovative technical solutions for the design, construction procurement and site supervisory services for work packages, as listed below:
- Topographical Monitoring Points to monitor landfill settlement
- Landfill Gas Flus Monitoring
- Southern Boundary Leachate Management Dewatering Works
- Assessment of Photovoltaic Solar Farm development potential
- Leachate Side Riser Remediation Works
- Leachate Treatment Plant Works
- Provision of a new Park Maintenance Building
- Upgrade of site fire fighting services
FT Responsibilities
FT services for this Framework include:
- Detailed design for all works packages
- Management of all FT sub consultants and partners
- Preparation of all contract documentation, procurement and administration of all works packages
- Contract Administration
- Resident Engineering Services
- Undertake the role of Principal Designer including preparation of Pre-Construction Information Plan
