Seán Ronayne's mission to record all of the bird species in Ireland

Seán Ronayne, Surveying Ecologist at FT and the creator of IrishWildlifeSounds, is featured in the The Irish Times Life mini-documentary video series.

Seán has recorded over 160 birds throughout Ireland so far with a goal of recording vocalisations of all of Ireland’s regularly occurring bird species. His work to generate new knowledge on Irish bird vocalisation is important to the understanding of Irish native birds in their natural habitat.
