Peter Walsh is a Chartered Engineer and a Member of Engineers Ireland with over 22 years' experience in the design and delivery of roads and transport projects. Peter is a Technical Director in the Sustainable Infrastructure team and his design experience includes the preparation of concept, tender and detailed engineering designs of highways, active travel and rail projects.

Peter Walsh is Technical Director in the Sustainable Infrastructure team. Peter is a Chartered Civil Engineer with over 22 years of experience and is a Member of Engineers Ireland. His experience as a Lead Highways Engineer has included the preparation of designs and reports across Feasibility, Options Selection, Preliminary and Detailed Design stages of highway, active travel and rail projects and he has successfully fulfilled the roles of design and project manager.
Peter has worked successfully on a range of small, medium, and large road infrastructure projects for state road authorities, local governments and private contractors and has delivered projects across Ireland, Australia, Bangladesh, Mongolia, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan.
Peter’s experience as Design Manager in the Sustainable Infrastructure team includes an extensive range of highways and transport projects including most recently:

- Wexford Town to Rosslare Harbour Greenway, County Wexford
- Cahir to Cashel Greenway, County Tipperary
- R498 Castlemeadows Active Travel Scheme, County Tipperary
