Claremorris Historic Landfill Remediation Project Contract Signing
Overview
Fehily Timoney and Company have been appointed by Mayo County Council (MCC) as technical advisors on the Claremorris Historic Landfill Remediation Project.
James O’Neill, Principal Engineer, was delighted to attend the contract signing on 10th November on behalf of FT.

The project team look forward to working with our client MCC and contractor Joe Reilly Plant Hire Ltd. to deliver the project. The remediation plan, approved by Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Ireland, was also developed by FT in accordance with the Code of Practice for Historic Landfills. The remediation will allow for the full development of the proposed Claremorris Energy Co-op solar farm project at the site.
