FT achieves Investors in Diversity Silver Award!
Overview
Fehily Timoney and Company are excited to share fantastic news that we achieved the Investors in Diversity Silver Award by the Irish Centre for Diversity. This achievement is a mark of the company’s ongoing commitment to creating a truly inclusive and respectful workplace. The award not only reflects our shared values but also the collective effort across the business to foster a culture where everyone can feel safe, valued, and free to be themselves.
When we began this journey, starting with our Bronze Accreditation in April this year , we made a conscious decision that this wouldn’t be just a tick-box exercise. As a company, inclusion and belonging are not “nice-to-haves” – they are essential to who we are and how we want our people to experience life at FT. We firmly believe that everyone deserves to work in an environment where they feel respected, supported, and empowered.
The Silver Accreditation is a recognition of the company’s progress, but it is also built on the honest feedback and insights provided through the company-wide survey to our staff. Key findings from the summary report:
According to the Irish Centre for Diversity Summary Report July 2026: “The results show that Fehily Timoney and Company is doing incredibly well in comparison to both their sector and the overall percentage of positive responses nationally.”
While the survey findings are incredibly encouraging, they also serve as a reminder that the journey doesn’t stop here. FT can and will achieve more with the company’s commitment to equality, dignity, diversity and inclusivity.
To support areas that our staff were most interested, as identified in the survey, FT has proudly donated €500 to each of the following charities:
Shine who supports people with mental illness, their families/supporters
AsIAm who supports people with mental illness, their families/supporters
LGBT Ireland provides LGBT awareness training for services and organisations, including employers and community groups.
