This Design and Build contract started in February 2005; 15km of the road was opened in July 2007 with the remainder opened in September 2007, ahead of schedule.

Notable Features A new bridge was required to carry the new N11 over the Dublin to Rosslare Railway at a skew angle of 74 degrees. The bridge is a Single span underbridge with clear span of 14m, allowing sufficient width for a doubling of the track on the north side of the existing track at some future stage, in accordance with larnrod Eireann requirements.

FT worked closely with Irish Rail and the contractor to achieve a speedy approval process and to ensure that the structure was constructed safely with minimal disruption to the adjacent live railway.
