Sludge management is the process of identifying and evaluating the optimal beneficial re-use of biological non-hazardous sludges. FTC offers a comprehensive service to public and private sectors in sludge management planning. Since 1993, we have acted as a principal consultant to the DoEHLG on issues relating to sludge management, treatment of municipal sludge, and biosolids re-use.
Our extensive experience in these areas includes the preparation of strategy and guidance documents and codes of good practice.
