FTC are currently carrying out the Design of three bridge structures for the M9 Motorway, Junction 1a project near Edinburgh, Scotland.

This project forms part of the local network upgrade necessitated by the new Forth Replacement Crossing. FTC are preparing designs, to Eurocode Standards, for three separate structures. These are amongst the first motorway structures to be designed to the Eurocodes in the UK. The project will upgrade the junction 1a through the addition of new western facing slip roads as well adding new lanes to the existing network.
