UAE - Sajja Landfill Facility Audit, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates
FTC completed out an audit of the Sajja waste management facility site in Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates on behalf of Bee'ah the Sharjah Environment Company.
The landfill currently accepts approximately 2.5 million tonnes per annum, comprising; municipal solid waste, construction and demolition waste, hazardous waste and sludges. In addition the facility produces compost for the Municipality of Sharjah in open windrow systems and has a construction and demolition recovery facility producing granular materials typically used in road formations.
