Today FTC received its Engineering License to practice as an engineering consultancy in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from the Saudi Society of Engineers.

FTC are the first Association of Consulting Engineers of Ireland consultancy to receive an engineering licence in the Kingdom. Managing Director of FTC Eamon Timoney and General Manager of Fehily Timoney Engineering Consultants (FT Arabia) said that “this is a major step forward for the company in the Region as it will enable the Company to procure and carry out contracts in its own right and to contract directly with the Saudi public and private sector” . FTC have previously worked in the United Arab Emirates and are a Registered Consultant in Kuwait.

FTC’s Saudi Arabian engineering partner is Eng. Mazen Al Saeed , Chairman of the Al Saeed Group which has its headquarters in Al Khobar in the Eastern Province.

FTC has opened offices in Riyadh and Al Khobar and will work primarily in the Clean Technology and Environmental areas.”
