Fehily Timoney Gifford (FTG) are performing the role of Contractors Designer for the BAM Balfour Beatty Consortium for the M17/M18 Gort to Tuam PPP Scheme.

This scheme comprises approximately 57 km of new motorway, along with associated link roads, side roads and junctions and will connect the northern end of the M18 Gort to Crusheen Scheme in the vicinity of Gort to the existing N17 north of Tuam. The National Roads Authority has confirmed that the BAM Balfour Beatty Consortium is the preferred bidder and they are expected to commence construction in Spring 2011.
