Fehily Timoney & Company were successful again at the annual CMG Building and Design Awards announced on Friday, December 2nd.
The 2011 Building & Design Awards had a very high profile judging panel consisting of nine highly respected industry individuals that included John Power, Director General, Engineers Ireland; Dr Louis Gunnigan, President, International Construction Project Management Association; and Professor James Horan, Dublin School of Architecture, DIT.
The company was awarded the Engineering Practice of the Year Award 2011, sponsored by Kingspan, for the second year in a row.
In addition, Eamon Timoney was selected as Managing Director of the Year for 2011.
The company had been shortlisted as a finalist under three categories for the 2011 Awards:
• Engineering Practice of the Year
• Construction Consultant/Project Management Firm of the Year
• Renewable Energy Award

In accepting these awards Fehily Timoney & Company recognise the contribution made by its staff in continuing to provide excellent service and value to our Clients in a broad range of sectors including, civil infrastructure, renewable energy, environmental sciences and waste. Amongst the projects recognised by the judges in making the awards were the N5 Longford Bypass, Rathcahill Wind Farm, the A5 Western Transport Corridor, Jedrzerow Bypass in Poland, Cloosh and Clydagh Wind Farms.
Dr Louis Gunnigan, President of the International Construction Project Managers Association, stated during his keynote address to the hundreds who attended, “It is truly invigorating to celebrate success and achievement and remind everyone just how talented and respected Irish construction is the world over”.
