Our association with Gifford (UK) (www.gifford.uk.com) goes back to the early 1990’s and was incorporated in 1999 with the formation of Fehily Timoney Gifford Ltd.
Gifford is a world leading consultancy of engineers and specialist advisor’s, who believe in sharing excellence with clients and professional colleagues to create great projects. Gifford has Centres of Excellence in Buildings, Civil Engineering and Environmental Development Planning.
Since 1999, Fehily Timoney Gifford has been to the forefront of the provision of Irelands transport network, particularly in the role of Design and Build contracts. Our projects include:
- N25 Youghal Bypass (€33 m) 2001 – 2003
- N8 Cashel Bypass (€30 m) 2003 – 2004
- M7 Heath-Mayfield Motorway (€66 m) 2003 – 2004
- N15 Bundoran – Ballyshannon Bypass (€39 m) 2004 – 2005
- N11 Gorey to Arklow Link (€94 m) 2005 – 2007
- N9 Phase 3 – Kilcullen to Carlow (€109 m) 2007
- N9 Phase 4 – Knocktopher to Powerstown (€217 m) 2007

Two of FTG’s bridge structures have been singled out for awards:
- Concrete Society of Ireland Overall Excellence Award 2006, Cathleen’s Fall’s Bridge, N15.
- Construction industry Federation Excellence Award 2006 (Finalist), Mardyke Bridge, Cork City.
