FTC has recently been appointed by Coillte Teoranta to a framework agreement for the provision of environmental services.  A total of four consultants have been appointed to the framework.  The agreement is for 2 years duration and relates to environmental services work in areas such as:

• Ecology
  
• Archaeology
  
• Geology and geotechnical engineering
  
• Environmental science, including waste management
• Wind energy projects

Coillte owns approximately 7% of the land bank in Ireland and is keen to investigate the potential for developing this land.  Typical projects may include:

• Providing services to assist Coillte in maintaining the FSC certification
  
• Wind farm development in peat land
  
• Property development in environmentally sensitive areas (such as HVCF)
