Paul is Technical Director with Fehily Timoney & Co having joined in 1992 and Chair of our Contracts Committee.  He is a chartered engineer with over 25 years experience in contracting and consulting.  He has acted as Project Director and Project Manager on a number of private and local authority solid waste management and civil engineering contracts.  He has extensive design experience of engineered landfills, capping and infrastructural works, waste transfer stations, landfill site remediation as well as general civil engineering works. 

Paul has significant detail design, public procurement, tender document preparation and contract administration experience in both Design & Build and traditional forms of contract.  He is undertaking a Diploma in Arbitration at UCD and holds a Diploma in Law from UCC.

Paul has acted as Resident Engineer on landfill remediation and landfill development contracts.  He has considerable contracting experience of procurement and works supervision on large scale Construction Management building projects in the UK, France and Spain. 

Paul was Project Engineer for the Bloomfield Interchange Arch Bridge (Contractor – Ascon Ltd.) in 2000. This project was the recipient of a Construction Industry Federation Construction Excellence Award (Special Structures).
