Oliver Tierney joined Fehily Timoney & Co. in 2004 and is currently Head of Infrastructure having formerly served as a director in the company from 2006-2009.  Oliver is joint managing director of Fehily Timoney Gifford Ltd. consultants.  He holds an Honours Degree in Civil Engineering obtained from UCG (1986) and has over 20 years experience as a Civil/Structural Engineer. He is a Chartered Engineer, and a Member of The Institution of Structural Engineers. He also holds a post-graduate Diploma in Highway and Geotechnical Engineering.

Oliver has worked with Consulting Engineers, Contractors and Local Authorities in both the UK and Ireland. He has worked in the areas of planning, design and construction of major national road projects, structural design of multi-storey commercial buildings, construction of trunk watermains and ancillary works, and in the site management of commercial and residential developments. He also has experience as acting as expert witness and in contract dispute resolution.
