Declan Egan joined Fehily Timoney & Company in 1992 and is a Technical Director and Chair of the Climate Change Committee.  Declan qualified with a degree in Environmental Science and a Masters Degree in Environmental Auditing.  He is a Chartered Scientist and a Chartered Environmentalist and he is also a Member of the Chartered Institute of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM), and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Waste Management.  Declan is a Member of CIWEM’s Technical Committee on Environmental Management.  Declan lectures to adult students in University College Cork's Environmental Science Diploma, Degree and Masters courses.

Declan’s key areas of expertise include project management, carbon management, environmental impact assessment, strategic environmental assessment, environmental auditing, pre-acquisition environmental assessments, contaminated land assessment and remediation.
